Named for the banyan tree, ஆலமரம் (Ālamaram), Alam takes its name from the tree’s rooted, expansive presence across Pondicherry’s green landscape.
Alam has a structured silhouette with a strong yet supple feel. The leather is hand dyed in natural pigments and finished with hand-braided edges.
Like a ballerina’s shoe, it breaks in with time. It moulds to movement while holding its form.
